Lately I find myself leaning more towards the monochrome form in the visual arts. I have always had a soft spot for black and white image's, sometimes with just a bit of color peeking through. What I like the most with this composition is that it exhibits a good range of tonal contrast, light to dark with the brightest tone's right across the center of the image. Some, would say that the rules of photography prohibits the placement of the subject, centered as it is, at that location. But, what the hell. It's always feels good to break a few rules.
