I shot this at St.James Farm. I really like black and white and with us being in the middle of our very bleak winter, it seems to work well.

A little ice on the path through the forest.
POST 22
I tried to capture a very smooth, silky, carpet of water as it flowed through St.James farm, but there was just too much light for my camera to capture. I had my ISO down as low as it would go, my aperture was so small it was choking my camera and my shutter speed was as low as good manners would allow. But the truth be told, I like it. It has just enough blur to give it a real painterly quality with the apparent use of very broad, sweeping brush strokes. I am happy with my image, all is right in the world!
POST 21
Merry Christmas and a splendid new Year.

Here is a bit of product photography. I used to do a lot of this using lasers as the product when I worked for Cisco. This I did for Craigs List, hopefully it will help sell it.
