This is my first experience with shooting fireworks. Needless to say this is my only image worth saving. It was taken at the Lisle "Eyes to the Sky's".

POST 47
I was over at Herrcik Lake, when this big guy popped up, big and getting bigger with all our mild weather and rain making the wild flowers really flourish. He is really pumping those wings to stay airbourne.
POST 46
This was captured at home, some where along the back fence. I was working on my depth of field (I guess), and after careful consideration, I believe I should have kept the foreground leaves in focus. But I may change my mind.
POST 45
This was on the west side of the Morton Arboretum, with just a glimpse of Sterling Pond. The day was beautiful and the mid-morning light was wonderful.
POST 44
This was taken at the Blackwell Forest Preserve. And I tried to add a little soft and mellow ambiance to the image. The photo was taken in the early morning so I wanted to emphasize that feeling of softness and warm light.
POST 43
I came across these Aster's down at Oldfield Oaks (sounds like a car dealership), it's located at 87th and Lemont road, just north of Argonne. These pretty wildflowers were just screaming at me to take their photo so I conceded, and we all had a good time.
POST 42
This Red Tailed Hawk has been at the Willowbrook Wildlife Center for a long time, he only has sight in one eye, but I can never resist taking a shot of him.
POST 41
I found this Blossom just outside the Visitor Center on the banks of Meadow Lake at the Morton Arboretum. They were sporadically growing around the the lake so I assume they are wild flowers (I have also been known to be in error, but it just hasn't stopped me).
