This was taken at the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in Omaha NE. We were back there just recently and my brother was kind enough to take us for a visit and enjoy all of the aircraft. The above picture depicts the SR71, the fastest plane ever to take off. It's speed surpasses 2,000 mph and was never contacted by an enemy missile, it simply out-ran them.

A nice bouquet of Geraniums stand innocently on the back deck, when I spot them with my camera and decide to give them some pazaazz. My first course of action is to give them a dark demonic background and then apply some contrast and clarity to make every wrinkle and fold pop. But, the coup de grâce, was the application of an IR (infared filter). It shifted the color temperature of the image and  produced a very distinct look. Sometimes certain things must be attempted for the sake of experimentation.

POST 94

A field of wildflowers with an old barn in the background, surely a pastoral scene. Well, the container on the right didn't help.

POST 93

This guy left his skeleton in my basement(molting), it's how they grow larger. So, just remember that the next time you come down to visit me.

This one would stretch out to about 3 inches.

POST 92

This was taken over at Morten Arboretum, looking west over Meadow Lake. The reason I took this shot was because there were clouds in the sky, other wise I probably wouldn't have. If you have something in the sky it makes a world of difference in the image.

POST 91

This was taken at Warrenville Grove on Batavia Rd. just south of Blackwell Forest Preserve.
