POST 119
I was out wandering the Blackwell winter wonderland when I took this. After viewing, I decided to extract most of the color and create a much bleaker view. I love to "bleak".
POST 118
"Frozen Pond", over at the Danada farm. Which leads to a frosty sunset.
POST 117
This was a morning shot over at McDowell Grove. The preserve is still under construcion for renovation. There replacing the bridge {major work), that leads into the parking area and redoing a few trails.
POST 116
A sunset at the Danada Horse Farm, looking west.
POST 115
This was shot over at Blackwell Forest Preserve. "Rough Trail", A possible look back into the past at what early pioneers may have faced on there trek west.
POST 114
Tall Pines at Sunrise, that kind of tells the story. This was taken at the Morton Arboretum early one morning. I was driving to my normal spot when I spotted this shot. I said to myself (self?) I need a image for my blog and this would work rather nicely. If only, all things were that easy?
POST 113
This was taken along a trail at the Morton Arboretum, early one morning, last week. I like all the vertical lines, highlighted by the nice angle that the sunshine is attacking the tree's.
I believe one of the reasons that I find this image appealing is the nice separation of the trees allowing the background to show through, which creates some pleasent contrast between highlights and shadows.
