It's spring time at the Morton Arboretum and things are beginning to grow. Including this Robot, which is a genus of the plywood family and a species of the Georgia-Pacific group.

A weekly Image to promote better photography.
POST 135
Big Tree at Danada, that's my description, and I'm sticking to it, as I lean against a corral fence while enjoying the hell out of this weather.
POST 134
I found this carpet of Blue Bells at the Morton Arboretum last year. So I tried to capture a better image this year, flowers are bell-shaped and can be blue, white or rarely pink, these were closer to white. Still, it was a lovely scene and I'm sure I will try to better it next year.
POST 133
This is a Sunrise, taken at McDowell Grove, on the west side of Naperville. I have intentionally focused sharply on the foreground, letting the focus decrease as it moves into the background. I tried to create the same experience in last weeks image, but I don't think I was as successful.
POST 132
Here are a few logs for next winter. Let's hope we no longer need them?
POST 131
Tall trunks at the Morton Arboretum as the pruning and burning continues.
POST 130
I marched around to the back side of these fir trees to take this shot at the Morton Arboretum. Fortunatly I had some nice light comming from the east and that pretty much made the photo.
POST 129
This is a corral over at the Danada Horse Farm, were I spotted this group of trees. The amazing thing was that I had a wonderful parade of clouds in the background. The general scenario is that it's either all gray or all blue, so this was a very nice treat. And I quickly snapped my shot.
