How is this for a little color on a October morn? It isn’t that colorful yet but it’s lyin’n in the weeds (leaves). We just need a few cold nights to kick start the process and then we can Rock and Roll with the camera.

This guy was just sitting on a log pondering the world, when I stumbled by. He was probably contemplating the weather (of course), the predators and were they were (I’m sure), plus the closest batch of fermented honey (cheers). ***Just Like Me***

This was taken over at St. James Farm. The forest floor has been taken over by these White Flowered plants. Just a week ago it was all Goldenrod. It’s a pretty site especially in the early morning.
POST 129
A trail in the Blackwell Forest Preserve. Highlighted by some nice sunlight streaming thru the trees.
POST 128
This was taken at the Elburn Forest preserve which is west of here by about 25 miles. It is relatively small, but a nice walk (around the preserve, not from LIsle). Anyway, it was a pleasant experience and I'm sure I will return someday.

I was visiting Cantigny Park, when I took this shot. This guy is really reaching for the sun.
