I see improvement on the weather front. At least the sun was shining earlier this week, and I love it. I took this for the high lights but I have come to enjoy the image for it’s highs and lows so to speak. The brights and the darks, the focused and the blurred, the yin and the yangs, I hope I am not getting to technical? Anyway for some haunting reason I like it.

This was taken over at Blackwell Forest Preserve. I created a little drama with the use of my gradient filter. Otherwise it was a very one tone presentation.

Location: Morton Arboretum, This was just before the temperatures took a nose dive. A simple shot just foreground and background, but I like the sense of depth that the blur, invokes, on this 2 dimensional image.
